Barn Wedding Venues from Asheville Weddings DJs

Barns are just great locations for a unique setting in the Asheville and Boone area and memorable weddings provided by Asheville Wedding DJs and here are some of the ideas I like. This place was recommended by a reader and I have since created a post specifically for this venue which you can read here. They are located in the Appalachian mountains with picturesque views and several wedding and ceremony sites to choose from. A wedding and reception on a Saturday in 2013 will be approximately: $4,250 plus meal costs, bar setup (if needed) and servers at $100 each. **Weddings and hot buffet receptions are available on Fridays and Sundays at a $500 discount, and Mondays-Thursdays are discounted by $600. **If this is not within your budget, please contact the farm to discuss options to meet your budget needs.

Pricing starts at $1,900 and includes decorations as well as directing of the rehearsal and wedding. Plus the barn can seat up to 300 guests!

This place looks gorgeous! Price for a Saturday wedding for 100 guests starts at $5,750 and that doesn’t include catering, alcohol, DJ, etc.

The have different areas that you can rent out and then use the lodge as the reception area that starts at $2250 for up to 100 guests, but to use the historic barn it starts at $4,500 and they had limited availability for 2013.

This seems to be a popular one but there is a 150 minimum for the barn venue, which is $4,500 for a Saturday reception site,  $2,500 for a Friday and $3,500 for Sunday. They do have a garden terrace venue for smaller weddings and the ceremony is $2,750 during the day and $4,000 during the evening. Then the reception is $2,000 for a Friday or Sunday evening or $1,500 for the day.

This place is absolutely adorable. One-day rental venue fees start at $2,600 for Friday, $4,500 for Saturday, $3,500 for Sunday and Monday through Thursday it’s $250/hour.  Included in the one day venue rental are tables, chairs, wedding consultation and tons of really neat accessories for you to decorate with. You can also rent the venue for the entire weekend, including lodging for $7,200. The owner also seems really nice and owns a store in Waynesville called Apple Blossoms that sells local handmade, crafted, rustic-chic items.

Monday through Thursday you can purchase a 4 hour block for up to 50 guests for $1,750 and it’s $100 additional per hour. You are also required to hire a wedding director which they have available for an additional $250. For all day (10am-10pm) on Friday or Sunday it’s $2,925 plus the $250 wedding director fee if you don’t have one. Prices for a Saturday event from 10am-10pm for up to 50 guests is $3,225 plus the $250 director fee and all packages include tables, chairs, plates, glasses, flatware etc.

Prices start at $4,100 for Saturday reception only and $4,700 for ceremony and reception.

The basic package  is $3,500 which includes use of the indoor barn which can accommodate up to 125 guests and has an indoor fireplace, kitchen, stage and restroom. The outdoor fireplace, dance floor and garden area are also included which can accommodate up to 300 guests and you will get tables, chairs, linens for up to 75 people. The next package is $5,995 but also includes a seated buffet, cake for up to 75 guests, DJ for up to 4 hours and some decorations. They have a couple other packages that are more and include even more options.

They are completely booked for September and October 2013. Not surprising when you look at that picturesque view!

Cupcake lights



Materials: You'll need a package of Drommar, a strand of lights and an X-Acto knife.

Description: Using an X-Acto knife, make a cross cut in the bottom of an Ikea Drommar (cupcake liner $0.99 for a pack of 65). Slip over socket on a strand of lights to create small paper lamp shades that look really sweet.
